This recording is a labor of love. It was an honor and a joy to perform and record with Ra Kalam Bob Moses. Not only is that experience and this music something I’ll carry with me forever, my life and music have been irrevocably changed by this encounter. My undying gratitude goes out to Ra Kalam. I am also grateful to Damon Smith for planting the seed for this recording, as well as everything he did to nurture it and help bring it to fruition.
